No hard limit — you can merge as many files as your browser memory allows. For very large batches, merge in groups of 10–20 files.

Will the quality of my PDFs be affected?

No. pdf-lib copies pages directly without re-rendering, so the quality of text, images and vector graphics is perfectly preserved.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be loaded by pdf-lib without the password. Use the PDF Password Remover tool first.
